Whom will I talk with during the orientation?
You will be invited to
spend two days at Oil Can Henry's International
(OCHI) headquarters, meeting with department heads
involved with real estate and construction, operations,
marketing, training, and other key areas. They
will answer your questions in detail and conduct
a center orientation.
How long does it take to get started as an Oil
Can Henry's service center operator?
The length of time it takes
to locate commercial real estate which is appropriate
for an Oil Can
Henry's service center and cost effective for you
will vary dramatically depending on the real estate
conditions in the market you are developing. Once
real estate is located by OCHI and approved by
you, you can expect to be open in 9-12 months.
Does Oil Can Henry's provide help with real estate
site selection?
When you have been approved
by OCHI, made a down payment on your Franchise
Fee and paid your Real Estate Assistance Fee, you
will execute a Franchisor Site Location Agreement
and the real estate professionals employed by OCHI
will locate real estate in your market which meets
our criteria and your price range.
What about training and operating assistance?
Our intensive training program, which lasts five
to six weeks, is designed to teach all of the skills
necessary to operate an Oil Can Henry’s center.
We will also counsel you in employee training.
In addition, we will provide on-site training,
pre- and post-opening, at your center.
What about
pre-opening and opening advertising?
To help assure a successful opening, we work with you to plan and execute tested
and proven activities that will introduce your business to the community and
create top-of-mind awareness.
We recommend that you schedule a grand opening event two to three months after
your center’s opening date. We’ll work with you to plan a successful
event and will provide on-site assistance to teach you and your crew how to efficiently
manage the increased Car Count volume.
What is the life of a franchise?
The term of the franchise is 15 years with five-year renewal options based on
the renewal options of your lease.
