PCV Valve Replacement

The Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve is part of a vehicle's emissions system. The PCV valve works with the PCV breather filter to re-circulate unburned gases and fumes back through the intake manifold to be re-burned.

A plugged PCV Valve can cause oil leaks, rough idling or stalling.

Oil Can Henry's procedures include checking the PCV valve as part of our Famous 20-Point Full-Service Oil Change.

PCV Valve replacement recommendations vary by manufacturer. A general guideline for replacement is every two years or 30,000 miles, or if a valve is plugged.
